My practice hours are:

Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10-20

Fridays: 10-16

Sessions are:

50 minutes long and arranged weekly

Face-to-Face Sessions

I currently work from a therapy room in Guildford.

 

The room is set within a professional agency, specialising in psychological services.

 

I have limited availability for face-to-face sessions, please enquire for up-to-date information.

Online Sessions

Online sessions are held via zoom and the format is the same as for face-to-face sessions.

 

If you would like to meet in person before moving online, the first session can be arranged to take place face-to-face in Guildford.

Ending Therapy

During the complimentary call we will briefly discuss what has brought you to seek counselling at this time, what format you prefer and what time. During the call you can also ask me any questions you may have.

You don't have to let me know right away if you would like to proceed, and I encourage you to speak with other counsellors as well, before making your choice.

During the first session, we will allow some time to go through the counselling contract, 10 minutes or so.

The remaining time I may ask you some questions to get to know you and your history a little bit better and for us to discuss what has brought you to counselling in more detail. 

As an initial commitment I recommend 6-12 sessions, this can be reviewed, extended or kept open-ended as we go along.

Therapy can be both challenging and rewarding at the same time and I encourage you, if you can, to allow some time after a session for some self-care, in whatever format that is meaningful for you.

For shorter-term therapy, it can be helpful to allow for at least a 2 session notice, prior to ending, or a longer notice for longer-term therapy. This is so that we can have time to review your journey and discuss anything that may still be valuable for you.
